What is sequential barcoding?

Sequential barcoding is the creation of a series of unique barcodes between a start and an end point. These barcodes can be used on vouchers, swing tags, bills, labels, envelopes and anything that requires security or unique identification.

Sequential barcoding specifications:

Paper weight

60gsm (thin paper) to 300gsm (card)

Paper types

Uncoated, Matt, Art, Gloss, Self-adhesive (for labels)

Paper size

Up to SRA3 (slightly larger than A3)

Variable information

We can also add variable information to your documents along with the barcodes, such as:

  • Date of issue
  • Issuing branch
  • Client details such as name and phone number
